Welcome to RoundTable Politics E-Magazine! From below you may select from three sources of Political News that Suits Your Fancy...
Welcome to the official launch of a better voice in Florida politics – RoundTable Politics. Our mission is simple: seek the truth. As easy as that sounds, we live in an uneven time for political reporting. Rather than presenting facts, news outlets are more concerned with giving you biased opinions. They sacrifice quality for clicks, eroding the foundation of journalism in the process. While this tactic continues, we strive to rise above this. We will relentlessly pursue the truth, no matter the cost.
Finding the truth is no easy task. It’s a long, arduous journey that takes you to the deepest depths of the underworld. On this quest to uphold a higher value, you’re likely to encounter the monsters and myths that plague our society. It’s a scary and uneasy task, yet we can ill afford to abandon the journey. You learn through voluntary contact with that which frightens you – “in filth it will be found.” We must be willing to enter the forest at the darkest point and face our biggest fears in the process.
The hero is not the one with the shiniest armor. The hero is the one who is willing to go into the belly of the beast.
Though our ideas may differ, at the table, we are equal. We share a common goal, and we will not suppress another’s voice. We will encourage ideas, and in the process, become enlightened. Like the Knights of the Round Table, we are committed to something greater than ourselves. Our story has just begun, but together we can carve a narrative predicated on truth.
